世界は木々のものだ。動物たちは木々によって生きている。樹木は生命の集合体だ。菌類も藻類もそこで生きている。一本の木は「１」と数えることができない。

ラウル・ガスケが捉える木々は光の存在だ。踊る樹木の光と影に無数の生命が宿る。都市は木々の踊りにより生命を取り戻す。光と風のはじけるようなダンス。それ以外にわれわれの生存はない。

The world belongs to the trees. We animals live because of the trees. Each tree is a collective of life. Fungi and algae live there as well. A single tree cannot be counted as “one.”

The trees Raúl Gasque captures are beings of light.Countless lives dwell within the light and shadows of the dancing trees. The dance of the trees gives life to human cities. It’s a dance where light and wind burst forth. If not for the dance, there is no other way for us to survive.

El mundo pertenece a los árboles. Nosotros, los animales, vivimos gracias a los árboles. Cada árbol es un conjunto de vida. Allí también viven hongos y algas. Un solo árbol no puede considerarse como «uno».

Los árboles que Raúl Gasque captura son seres de luz. Innumerables vidas habitan en la luz y las sombras de los árboles danzantes. La danza de los árboles da vida a las ciudades humanas. Es una danza en la que brotan la luz y el viento. Si no fuera por la danza, no habría otra forma de sobrevivir.
